Sadly, it is not uncommon to see pets wandering in Tenerife or posters from frantic families stuck on lampposts offering a small reward for the return of a beloved cat or dog.

One of the first places you should contact is K9. Inform them your dog is missing. They may already have your runaway cooling his heels in one of their pens.

You are also welcome to send a photograph and details of your lost pet to eTenerife. We will be happy to post the information for you at no charge.

The two dogs pictured were found by members of our family. Buddy the boxer was returned to her relieved owners on the same day that her info was posted on the site. 

No-one claimed the little collie cross but K9 found him a nice new home after my father had taken him to the vet to have that leg bandaged.

Please be sure to have your dogs chipped and it is always a good idea to attach your name and telephone number to your pet's collar.
