Tenerife forums and blogs

eTenerife regularly receives emailed questions that would be better asked in a forum setting. A destination portal like Etenerife is a great place to find detailed articles and information but a forum is ideal for asking specific questions and getting a more or less immediate response.

Holiday Truths Tenerife
This is a long-standing forum and is particularly valuable for those planning a holiday to Tenerife. There is less structure to the Forum in that the threads are not seperated by subject but a browse through the latest discussions can be very informative and entertaining.

Blogs

Secret Tenerife
Undoubtedly one of the most interesting blogs about life in Tenerife, this collection of anecdotes and ponderings about life on the island is beautifully illustrated with original photography. The blog's author Pamela Heywood has been around in Tenerife for donkey's years and Secret Tenerife is a vast collection of funny, exasperated and touching notes on life in her island of 'Eternal Uncertainty'.

Tenerife Times
Perhaps less personal than Secret Tenerife, Tenerife Times nonetheless carries a vast amount of information. This blog was set up for the express purpose of allowing visitors to question and comment on topics relevant to Tenerife while the webmaster continunes to add regular informative articles on life on the island. I suppose you could call it Tenerife's first flog as it serves the purposes of both a forum and a blog.

Joe Cawley
Joe Cawley is perhaps Tenerife's most respected English travel writer so not surprisingly his blog is a must for those wanting to learn more about the island. Though not as prolific a blogger as some of the others Joe's latest musings on Tenerife are always worth reading as are his general writing clips which showcase travel writing at its best.
