Playa de Las Americas is the most popular of Tenerife holiday areas. With beach, shopping, dining, entertainment and tours on tap, many holiday makers simply never feel the need to look beyond the boundary of Las Americas.

Hotel Bitacora ****

This fine hotel is suitable for couples or families. It is set in mature gardens only 350 metres from the beach and close to both shopping and entertainment. The Bitacora itself offers a wide range of organised activities and the kid's will love the swimming pools and water chute.

Accommodation is offered on a half board basis.

Hotel Noelia Sur ****

This is another excellent choice for families with good quality accommodation situated close to the main promenade but outwith the more rowdy side of Las Americas. There is a heated swimming pool (not that you will be needing that in the middle of a hot, Tenerife summer) and a kid's club as well as mini-golf to keep the nippers entertained. . The breakfast buffet and food in general gets good reviews at this hotel and as the hotel itself was recently refurbished you can be confident that the rooms are fresh and modern.
